Area of application

The Basic paternity test is used to compare the genetic characteristics of the child with those of the father and, if necessary, the mother.For this test, you purchase the Resultan test box, which contains all the necessary materials and documents for sample collection.When you purchase the test box, you also pay for the laboratory analysis.

The sample is taken through a swab from the inside of the cheek, which is carried out in the presence of a witness, such as a doctor, lawyer, pharmacist or authority.After the witness sends the samples to the laboratory, the analysis takes five days.You will then receive the written test result.

The Resultan test box contains the following components:

Sterile cotton swabs for buccal swabs, packed in sample envelopes.It also includes an instruction manual, a code card, a security seal, a checklist, an order form and identity proof forms.

Dosage

To perform the paternity test, follow these steps:

First, you must carefully read the attached documents and fill out all forms legibly.These must be signed by all test subjects and legal representatives.Include photos of the test subjects.

Before taking a sample, the mouth should be freed from food residue, preferably by rinsing with clear water.Do not use toothpaste.For breastfed children, samples should be taken two hours after the last breastfeeding.

Prepare a sample envelope for each person and pull out the cotton swabs.Use two cotton swabs per person, touching only the handle area.Rub it up and down the inside of your cheeks five times, rotating.

Insert one person's two cotton swabs into the appropriate sample envelope and place the envelopes and the completed and signed forms in the test box.Seal the test box with the enclosed security seal.

The witness sends the sealed test box to GENOLYTIC GmbH.After a few days you will receive your test result online and by post.

The sample collection must be carried out in the presence of a knowledgeable witness, such as a doctor, lawyer, authority or pharmacy.This controlled and identity-secured sampling is mandatory, even for private tests.
