In Germany, the return of medicines is subject to strict regulations and limitations due to safety and health considerations. The general rule is that medicines cannot be returned once they have left the pharmacy or retailer, except under specific circumstances.
According to German law, pharmacies are prohibited from accepting returns of medicines for resale once they have been dispensed and handed over to the customer. This regulation is in place to ensure the integrity, quality, and safety of medicinal products.
However, there are certain situations where the return of medicines may be possible:
- Defective or damaged products: If you receive a medicine that is defective or damaged, you should contact the pharmacy or retailer immediately to report the issue. They may offer a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.
- Incorrect medication dispensed: If you have received the wrong medication or a different product than what was prescribed by your healthcare professional, it is crucial to notify the pharmacy or retailer as soon as possible. They will work to resolve the issue and provide the correct medication if necessary.
- Expired medication: Expired medicines should not be used, and if you have inadvertently received expired medication, it is important to inform the pharmacy or retailer promptly. They will typically replace the expired product or provide a refund.
Before purchasing
It's important to note that return policies for medicines may vary, and it is advisable to check with the specific establishment before making your purchase. We highly recommend that you clarify the possibility of a refund before placing your order.
Refund process
To initiate a refund process, please send a request to [email protected]. Once your request is processed, you will receive instructions on how to return the respective product to a specified address using DHL. Please be aware that the shipping cost for the return will be at your own expense.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a purchase and request a full refund, you can only do so before the order has left the warehouse. Please contact our email address [email protected] and provide the order number and article code of the product you wish to cancel. In such cases, a refund of 100% of the amount will be issued based on the details specified in your cancellation request.
Unaccepted parcel
If for some reason you were unable to pick up the parcel or the courier was unable to deliver it to you, the parcel is returned to us. The cost of shipping back to us is 17 euros. The refund is the amount of the order excluding the cost of shipping back to us.
