Instructions for use of Propolisept tincture

Propolisept drops are a homeopathic medicine that can be used for various complaints.The active ingredient is propolis mother tincture, which is contained in an ethanol solution with an alcohol content of 62% (m/m).Propolisept drops are available without a prescription.

Areas of application

Propolisept drops are used for non-purulent inflammation of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract and urinary tract as well as for skin diseases.The areas of application correspond to the homeopathic drug picture.If symptoms persist for a long time, shortness of breath, fever or blood in the urine, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications and precautions

Propolisept drops must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to propolis, pollen, Peru balsam, bee sting allergy, poplar, cinnamon or if you are an alcoholic.Because of the alcohol content, Propolisept drops should only be taken by liver patients, epileptics and people with organic brain diseases after consulting a doctor.You should also consult a doctor before taking it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

This medicine contains 70% alcohol by volume.The maximum daily dose is up to 0.6 g of alcohol for acute dosage and up to 0.3 g of alcohol for chronic dosage.There is a particular health risk for people with liver disease, alcoholics, epileptics, brain disease or brain damage, as well as for pregnant women and children.

Patients with asthma, eczema or hives should only use Propolisept drops after consulting a doctor.There are no known interactions with other medicines.

Application
