Instructions for use for Urgofilm fixation plaster

Urgofilm is a discreet fixation plaster specifically designed to securely hold medical devices in place.It is micro-perforated to allow the skin to breathe and is radiolucent.The plaster adheres strongly and is therefore ideal for everyday use.

Application

To use the Urgofilm fixation plaster correctly, first clean and disinfect the skin thoroughly.Then rinse the skin and dry it carefully.Apply the patch to the prepared skin, making sure it is long enough to securely hold the medical device in place.Replace the patch on average once a day or as prescribed.

Contraindications

The Urgofilm fixation plaster is not suitable for fixation or attachment of moist material or probes such as those used in hematology, resuscitation or incubators.
