Meadowsweet tea consists of meadowsweet flowers.The flowers contain salicylates, which is why the product should not be used if you are hypersensitive to salicylates.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Meadowsweet tea is used for feverish colds where a sweat cure is desired.It can also be used to increase the amount of urine.

Type of application

Meadowsweet tea is used to drink after preparing a tea infusion.To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over about 2 teaspoons (4 - 6 g) of meadowsweet tea and, if necessary, strain it through a tea strainer after about 10 minutes.Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of freshly prepared tea infusion is drunk several times a day as hot as possible.

Notes

Meadowsweet tea should be stored away from light and moisture.
