Information about Nausyn tablets
Nausyn tablets are an anthroposophic medicine used for motion sickness and seasickness.This product is available without a prescription.
Areas of application
According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, Nausyn tablets are used to relieve motion sickness and seasickness.
Composition
Each tablet contains the following active ingredients: absinthium, ethanol.Infusum Ø (= D1) 3.5 mg, Cocculus Dil.D3 3.5 mg, Ipecacuanha, ethanol.Decoctum Dil.D3 3.5 mg, Nux vomica Dil.D9 [D3 mit Ethanol 43 % (m/m), D4 mit Ethanol 30 % (m/m), ab D5 mit Ethanol 15 % (m/m)] 3.5 mg, Petroleum rectificatum Dil.D7 [D3 mit Ethanol 62 % (m/m), ab D4 mit Ethanol 43 % (m/m)] 3.5 mg.
Other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, wheat starch and calcium behenate.
Dosage
Adults and children aged 6 and over should take 1 tablet 3 times a day starting 2-3 days before the trip.During the trip, 1 tablet can be taken every 2-3 hours.
Small children aged 1 to 5 years should take 1 tablet twice a day starting 2-3 days before the trip.During the trip, 1 tablet can be taken every 4 hours.
The tablets should be taken with a little water.Small children may be given the tablets crushed or dissolved in water.
Warnings
Nausyn tablets contain lactose and wheat starch.Please note the package leaflet.
Nausyn tablets must not be used if you are hypersensitive to wheat starch.
If symptoms persist or are unclear, you should consult a doctor.
Nausyn tablets should not be used in children under 1 year of age as there is no adequately documented experience.
Before taking any medication during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
Interactions with other medicines are not known.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Nausyn can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Wheat starch can cause hypersensitivity reactions.
