Hansaplast callus plaster

The Hansaplast callus plasters are designed to remove calluses, corns and calluses.The skin-colored foot plasters contain salicylic acid, which can also remove severe calluses.The patches can be cut to the required size to allow for flexible application.

Areas of application

The plasters are used to remove calluses, corns and calluses.The active ingredient salicylic acid has a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect by blocking the formation of prostaglandins.It can also soften the upper stratum corneum of the skin, making it easier to remove flaking skin or excessive calluses.

Application

Cut the patch according to the affected area of skin and stick it to the clean and dry area of skin after removing the protective paper.Make sure that only calloused skin is covered with the plaster and that the adjacent healthy skin is covered, for example with a fixation plaster.The plaster should be replaced after 2 days.After about 4 days, the softened calluses can be removed in a warm soap or saline bath.In stubborn cases, treatment can be repeated.

Dosage and instructions for use

Children aged 1 year and older and adults can use one piece of plaster every 2 days.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.The duration of use depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease.General treatment duration is 3-4 days.There are no known symptoms of overdose.Pay attention to careful dosage, especially for infants, small children and older people.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients.The medicine should not be used if there is impaired kidney function, extensive inflammation or eczema at the application site and in infants under 1 year of age.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor.If you are using it as prescribed despite contraindications, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

The medicine can cause side effects, but these only occur in exceptional cases.If you feel unwell or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

Active ingredient: salicylic acid 570 mg.Excipients: rubber, rosin, terpene phenolic resin, wool wax, butylhydroxytoluene, 2,2'-methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-p-cresol), artificial Peru balsam, talc, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyphenylmethyl)propane-1,3-diamine.

Important notes

No prescription is required for this product.Be careful if you are allergic to salicylic acid, rosin, cinnamon, birch, poplar buds, propolis, valerian, turmeric, wool wax alcohols or talc.There may be medicines with which interactions occur.Therefore, before starting treatment with a new medicine, tell your doctor or pharmacist any other medicine you are already using.

Storage

The medicine must be stored away from heat and moisture.Keep it in the original packaging and do not store it above 25°C.
