Instructions for use for Specialist E plaster bandage

The Specialist E plaster bandage is a medical product that is used for rigid immobilization.It is particularly suitable for treating fractures and other injuries that require immobilization.The plaster bandage is available in a size of 12.5 cm wide and 2.7 m long and consists of a cotton backing that is coated with a special natural plaster mixture.It is latex-free and is characterized by its high malleability, quick drying and durable nature.

To use the Specialist E plaster bandage, the immersion water is heated to a temperature between 20° and 25°C.The open time, i.e. the time in which the plaster bandage is still malleable, is around 3 to 5 minutes.After 30 minutes the plaster bandage is partially resilient and after 48 hours it is fully resilient.The duration of application can be up to several weeks, depending on the type and severity of the injury.
