Citronella is a perennial reed-like grass with an aromatic scent grown in Asia.The plant can grow in dense clumps up to three meters high.Its sturdy, reed-like leaves exude a citrus-like scent.The essential oil obtained from it is often used in perfumery.

Origin and extraction

Citronella oil comes from Nepal and is obtained by distilling the leaves.It is a product from controlled organic cultivation that meets the NATRUE organic cosmetics and vegan standards.

Citronella oil has a fresh scent that is classified as a top note.It has a balancing and invigorating effect.

Application

This essential oil is used as a cosmetic for aroma care.To use, a maximum of 15 drops are mixed with 50 ml of organic almond oil.No prescription is required for this product.

The main components of citronella oil are Cymbopogon Nardus (Citronella) Oil, Citral, Eugenol, Geraniol, Citronellol, Limonene and Linalool.These substances are natural components of the essential oil.
