Arnica comp./Formica is an oily rub that is used according to anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature for signs of wear and tear and inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system.No prescription is required for this product.

Important notes

Arnica comp./Formica must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to preparations made from arnica or other composite plants, lavender oil, rosemary oil, formic acid, birch pollen, peanut oil or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.It should also not be used on damaged skin, mucous membranes and on infants and small children under 2 years of age.

In acute conditions with redness, swelling or overheating of joints as well as persistent or unclear symptoms, a doctor should be consulted.For children over the age of 3, use is only permitted after consulting a doctor.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult a doctor before use.

Application

Arnica comp./Formica 3 - 5 drops of oil are rubbed into the affected parts of the body in the morning and evening.The rubbed areas are then covered with a woolen cloth, making sure that the cover is permeable to air.The bottle should be shaken well before use.Contact of the oil with open wounds, eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided.Hands should be washed thoroughly with soap after use.

Treatment should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this period, a doctor should be consulted.In the case of chronic illnesses, the duration of treatment should be discussed with your doctor.

Side effects

When using preparations containing arnica on the skin, allergic reactions in the form of itching and reddening of the skin with blistering can occur.Frequent and prolonged use can promote the development of new allergies to arnica.Peanut oil can rarely cause severe allergic reactions.Lavender oil and rosemary oil can trigger hypersensitivity reactions in sensitized people.

Composition

10 g contain: Active ingredients: 0.3 g glycerol extract from Formica rufa ex anim. dead (1:3) / 4.45 g extract (plants to extract = 1.2:10) from: Arnicae flos: Betulae folium: Calendula officinalis, Herba sicc.(3:4:1), extractant: refined peanut oil / Lavandulae aetheroleum 0.24 g / Rosmarini aetheroleum 0.16 g.Other Ingredients: Virgin Olive Oil, Refined Peanut Oil, Yellow Wax.
