Areas of application

Anise-pyrite tablets are an anthroposophical medicine that is used for diseases of the respiratory tract.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application include hoarseness, accompanying treatment for bronchitis, tracheitis and laryngitis.

What do you need to consider before taking aniseed pyrite?

Anise-pyrite tablets must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to anise, anethole, wheat starch or any of the other ingredients, in infants and small children under 2 years of age or if you are known to be hypersensitive to umbelliferous plants (Apiaceae).If you have a fever that lasts longer than three days or rises above 39°C, shortness of breath, purulent or bloody sputum, and persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult your doctor.

Like all medicines, Anise-Pyrite should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.There are no sufficient data on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding.There is no evidence of a particular risk for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Caution is advised when used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

This medicine contains lactose and wheat starch.If you know that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, please only take it after consulting your doctor.Wheat starch may contain small amounts of gluten, which are also considered tolerable by patients suffering from celiac disease.

How to take Aniseed Pyrite?

Always take Anise-Pyrit tablets exactly according to the instructions in this leaflet.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Adults and children aged 6 years and over 1 tablet every 2 hours.Small children aged 2 - 5 years 1 tablet 3 - 5 times a day, if necessary dissolved in a little tea.Let the tablet dissolve in your mouth.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 - 5 days, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.

What side effects are possible?

Like all medicines, Anise-Pyrite tablets can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Due to the component Pimpinella anisum, allergic reactions of the skin, respiratory tract and gastrointestinal tract can occasionally occur.In these cases you should stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor.Wheat starch can cause hypersensitivity reactions.

What else is important?

You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.

1 Tablet contains: Active ingredient: Anise-Pyrite Trit.D2 (HAB, SV 6) 25 mg. [1 g Anis-Pyrit Ursubstanz enth.: Pimpinella anisum, Fructus tostus 0,33 g / Pyrit 0,33 g / Saccharum tostum 0,34 g.] Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, wheat starch, calcium behenate.
