The BD Plastipak syringe is a three-part syringe with a Luer Lok connector that ensures a secure connection between the syringe and the cannula.It has a volume of 1 ml and is divided into 0.01 ml, which allows the volume to be read accurately.The syringe barrel and plunger rod are made of polypropylene, and the plunger lubricant is silicone oil.The syringe is pyrogen-free and not suitable for oral use.

The syringe is packaged in sterile individual packaging and is intended for single use.It is latex-free and PVC--free.Products numbered 309628, 309658, 309649 and 300912 are gamma sterilized, while all other products EO-are sterilized.The plunger slides easily and smoothly, and the syringe has a tight-fitting double sealing ring.

Instructions for use

Before use, you should pay attention to the integrity of the packaging.Do not use the syringe if the individual packaging is damaged.After single use, the syringe should be disposed of in a designated sharps disposal container.

If the filled syringe needs to be transported to the patient, the cannula should first be securely covered with the cannula protective cap.A puncture injury with a contaminated needle can lead to serious illnesses such as HIV, AIDS, hepatitis or other infectious diseases.The cannula protective cap should not be pushed onto the cannula with force as the cannula could pierce the protective cap and cause an injury.The needle should be placed on the syringe and twisted tightly, and the protective cap should be pulled straight off.
