Protefix adhesive powder serves as an adhesive for dental prostheses.It is particularly suitable for minor adhesion problems and thin saliva.Due to its gentle effect, it is suitable for the sensitive oral mucosa.

Product features

Protefix adhesive powder is a proven adhesive with wet adhesion.It is odorless and tasteless and very well tolerated.The product consists of 100% sodium alginate, a naturally based substance.

Dosage and method of administration

Sprinkle Protefix adhesive powder evenly and thinly onto the moistened denture.After insertion, the denture immediately adheres securely in the mouth.In the event of premature loosening, for example due to drinking liquid, it is sufficient to sprinkle a thin layer of adhesive powder.The prosthesis then sits tight again immediately.

Residue can be easily removed with a toothbrush under running water.Particularly stubborn residues can be removed with a cotton ball soaked in cooking oil.Hold the bottle at an angle and tap it lightly with your index finger to avoid over-ejection.Too much adhesive powder can harden and increase the risk of damage to the oral mucosa.

Contraindications

Protefix adhesive powder should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Side effects

In individual cases, hypersensitivity reactions can occur in the oral mucosa or the entire organism.If you suspect such a reaction, you should contact a doctor.

Notes

The use of Protefix adhesive powder should only be temporary.Continued poor adhesion of the prosthesis without adhesive powder may indicate deviations in fit and function.In this case you should consult a doctor.
