Gentiana lutea Rh 5% is a mixture that contains the active ingredient Gentiana lutea Rh D1.This anthroposophical medicine is used according to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature to stimulate digestion in the intestinal area and the associated metabolic processes in the limb system.It can help with disorders of movement and secretion in the upper gastrointestinal tract, such as flatulence, loss of appetite and nausea.It also supports the treatment of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases as well as inflammatory skin and joint diseases.

What do you need to consider before taking Gentiana Lutea RH 5?

Gentiana lutea Rh 5% should not be used during pregnancy.If nausea or discoloration of the stool persists, see a doctor.There is insufficient experience for children under 1 year of age, so the medicine should not be used at this age.During breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.However, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.

How to take Gentiana Lutea RH 5?

Always take Gentiana lutea Rh 5% exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 5 to 10 drops 3 to 4 times a day.Schoolchildren 6 to 11 years old should take 5 to 8 drops 1 to 3 times daily, while toddlers 1 to 5 years old should take 3 to 5 drops 1 to 3 times daily.Any clouding of the liquid is harmless.Shake the bottle before use to ensure even distribution.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 1 week.If there is no improvement, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with your doctor.Don't forget to take a double dose if you forget to take a dose.

What side effects are possible?

Occasionally, headaches may occur in people sensitive to bitter substances.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.This also applies to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

What else is important?

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.After opening the pack, the preparation should be stored at 2°C to 8°C and has a shelf life of 3 weeks.
