The Ideal bandage is a breathable and fluid-absorbent bandage manufactured specifically in accordance with DIN 61632. It features a non-fraying edge and is skin-friendly as well as sterilizable (e.g., by autoclaving).The bandage consists of a crepe-like, elastic fabric that ensures the dressing stays securely and firmly in place.It is made of at least 85% cotton and 15% viscose and is latex-free.This elastic textile bandage can be washed under standard clinical conditions without losing its elastic properties.

Areas of application

The Ideal bandage is suitable for various applications in wound care and support.These include firm, compressive wound dressings; wrapping splints or split casts during initial and follow-up treatment; and support or relief dressings for sprains and dislocations.It can also be used for the aftercare of dislocations and fractures, as well as for ointment dressings.
