The ideal bandage is an air-permeable and liquid-absorbing bandage that is specially manufactured according to DIN 61632.It has a looped edge, is skin-friendly and can be sterilized.The bandage is made of 100% cotton and is latex-free.It is available in the size 5.0 m x 10.0 cm.

The ideal bandage is suitable for various areas of application, including firm, compressive wound dressings, the wrapping of splints and cut casts as well as support and relief dressings for sprains and dislocations.The duration of application can be a few days to several weeks, taking into account the recommended change intervals.

Composition and properties

The ideal bandage consists of at least 85% cotton and 15% viscose.The crepe-like, elastic fabric ensures a secure and long-lasting fit of the bandage.The bandage is permeable to air and absorbs liquids to a high degree.It can be washed under normal hospital conditions without losing its elastic properties.The bandage is latex-free and has a longitudinal stretch of approx. 90.
