The Vliwazell absorbent compresses are suitable for treating moderately to heavily exuding wounds.They can also be used as a secondary dressing for heavily exuding wounds in combination with moist wound care dressings.

Product features

The Vliwazell absorbent compresses are completely closed and have a multi-layer structure, which gives them a very high absorbency.The particularly soft fleece covering makes it skin-friendly and gentle on wounds.Wound exudate is quickly directed into the absorbent body made of cellulose flakes, which has a significantly higher absorption capacity than a gauze compress.

A special blue fleece on the back prevents wound exudate from penetrating and thereby protects clothing and laundry.The compresses reduce the risk of wound adhesions and have a cushioning effect, which protects the wound area.They also have an integrated distribution layer that enables even distribution of the wound exudate.

The non-sterile versions of the Vliwazell absorbent compresses can be sterilized with steam or ethylene oxide.
