Description

Vliwazell absorbent compresses are completely closed, multi-layer compresses with a very high absorbency.They are particularly suitable for treating heavily exuding wounds.Thanks to the particularly soft fleece covering, the compresses are skin-friendly and gentle on wounds.The wound exudate is quickly passed into the absorbent body made of cellulose flakes, whose absorption capacity is many times that of a gauze compress.A special blue fleece on the back protects against the penetration of wound exudate and thus protects clothing and laundry.

The Vliwazell absorbent compresses reduce the risk of wound sticking and are a highly absorbent universal compress.They have an integrated distribution layer for even distribution of wound exudate and have a cushioning effect to protect the wound area.A protective laundry fleece prevents wound exudate from penetrating.The non-sterile versions can be sterilized with steam or ethylene oxide.

Areas of application

The compresses are suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds.They can also be used as a secondary dressing for heavily exuding wounds in combination with moist wound care dressings.
