Areas of application

Antimonite D6 ampoules are used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature for the internal development of the organism in the event of imbalance in the build-up and breakdown processes.This can be the case for various complaints such as indigestion with flatulence, lower leg ulcers and eczema, disorders of mental unity, as well as as an accompanying treatment for ulcerative inflammation in the digestive tract and for inflammatory-degenerative nerve diseases.

Active ingredient and composition

The active ingredient in Antimonit D6 ampoules is Antimonit Dil.D6 aquos.Each ampoule contains 10 ml of this liquid dilution.Sodium chloride is also included as an additional ingredient.

Application and dosage

Antimonit D6 should always be used exactly as directed by the doctor.The usual dose, if necessary, is 10 ml once a day, injected intramuscularly or intravenously.The intravenous injection may only be carried out by a professionally trained person.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with your doctor.

Precautions and contraindications

Antimonit D6 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein.You should consult a doctor if your stool turns black, if you have severe abdominal pain, if you have unusually severe symptoms, especially in one leg in the form of swelling, discoloration of the skin, a feeling of tension or heat and pain, or if you have persistent, unclear or new symptoms.

Antimonit liquid dilutions for injection should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Antimonit D6 can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Lactose contains small amounts of milk protein and can therefore cause allergic reactions.In such cases, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

Storage and disposal

You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.If only part of the contents of the ampoule is injected, the rest should not be saved for later injection.
