Instructions for use for Mepore Film

Mepore Film is a transparent, self-adhesive film dressing that can be easily applied even when wearing gloves thanks to its optimized application frame.The dressing is ideal as a secondary fixation dressing as well as a primary dressing for a variety of clean wounds.It adapts to the patient's body contours, protects against viruses and bacteria larger than 25 nm and prevents fluid penetration.

The bandage consists of a highly breathable, transparent film that prevents leaks.The skin-friendly adhesive ensures patient comfort during removal.The transparent paper application frame allows for easy application.The glue is based on polyacrylate and is water-based.The film is made of polyurethane and is flexible, transparent and breathable.

Mepore Film is suitable for a variety of wounds in the granulation phase, including superficial burns, IV-puncture sites, abrasions, lacerations and lacerations, skin harvest sites, superficial pressure ulcers, closed surgical wounds and for the prevention of skin damage due to tissue breakdown.It can be used as a practical fixation dressing or as a secondary dressing over hydrogel, alginate or foam dressings.

Mepore Film should not be used directly on deep wounds involving muscle, tendon or bone or on third degree burns.
