The PUR 3 Omega-3 oil capsules are a dietary supplement that can be taken daily to supply the body with important omega-3 fatty acids.The recommended consumption is 1 to 2 capsules daily, which should be taken whole with sufficient liquid.

One capsule contains an average of 22.1 kJ (5.4 kcal) of energy, 0.16 g protein, 0.09 g carbohydrates and 0.50 g fat.Of these, 0.45 g are omega-3 fatty acid ethyl esters, including 0.24 g EPA ethyl ester and 0.17 g DHA ethyl ester.Two capsules contain twice the amount of these nutrients.100 g of the product has an energy value of 2816.2 kJ (682.4 kcal), 20.51 g protein, 11.07 g carbohydrates and 63.76 g fat.Of these, 57.38 g are omega-3 fatty acid ethyl esters, including 30.08 g EPA ethyl ester and 21.12 g DHA ethyl ester.

Ingredients and allergens

The capsules consist of an omega-3 fatty acid ethyl ester concentrate, which is obtained from fish and molluscs (calamares).Other ingredients include gelatin, the antioxidant tocopherol, the humectants glycerin and sorbitol syrup and lecithin from soy.Allergens in this product include fish, molluscs and soy.

Storage and other information

The capsules should be stored out of the reach of small children at room temperature (15 - 25°C), dry and protected from light.The net filling quantity is 46.8 g, which corresponds to 60 capsules.The product is made in Germany.The stated daily dose should not be exceeded and the food cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.Omega-3 fatty acids lead to an increased conversion of VLDL cholesterol via LDL cholesterol to HDL cholesterol.This can lead to a temporary increase in LDL cholesterol, especially with a high-fat diet.
