Instructions for use for FLUORETTEN 0.5 mg tablets, 300 pcs

Fluoretten 0.5 mg tablets are a medicine for the prevention of caries in children from 3 years of age, adolescents and adults. The active ingredient in the tablets is sodium fluoride. The dosage depends on the age of the child and the fluoride intake from other sources. The lozenges should be sucked or crushed slowly and taken with food, water or tea. They should be used consistently over a long period of time, ideally in the evening after brushing the teeth. Adverse effects are rare and may include disturbances of well-being. The medicine should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients or if sufficient fluoride is already being supplied through other sources. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. The tablets contain lactose and should therefore only be used after consulting a doctor if you have a known intolerance to certain sugars. For more information, see the package leaflet.
