Fluorettes 0.5 mg are a medicine to prevent tooth decay. The active ingredient is sodium fluoride. This product is available without a prescription.
Areas of application
Fluoretten 0.5 mg lozenges are used to prevent tooth decay in children aged 3 and over, adolescents and adults.
Important information before use
Fluorettes 0.5 mg must not be used if your child is hypersensitive to sodium fluoride or any of the other ingredients.Even if your child already gets enough fluoride through fluoridated table salt, drinking water, mineral water or table water, the medicine should not be used.
Particular caution is required in children with severe chronic illnesses that impair growth. In this case, you should consult your doctor.Children with congenital metabolic disorders who receive a balanced diet do not need fluoride tablets.
Do not increase the dosage beyond the recommended amount as this can cause enamel stains on the teeth and, in the event of long-term overdose, disrupt bone structure.

The lozenges should be sucked slowly.Young children can be given the crushed tablet on a spoon with food, water or tea.The best time to use is in the evening after brushing your teeth.
