Instructions for use of Fluoretten 1.0 mg tablets

Fluoretten 1.0 mg tablets are an over-the-counter medicine used to prevent tooth decay.The active ingredient in this preparation is sodium fluoride.

Areas of application

Fluoretten 1.0 mg tablets are used to prevent tooth decay.They are particularly suitable for children aged 6 and over, teenagers and adults.

Application and dosage

The tablets should be sucked slowly, ideally in the evening after brushing your teeth.The dosage depends on the age of the child and the additional fluoride intake from other sources such as fluoridated table salt or mineral water.It is generally recommended to take one lozenge daily.However, the exact dosage should be determined in consultation with a pediatrician or dentist.

Use should begin as early as possible and continue for at least the first 12 years of life.Longer-term use into adulthood is recommended.

Overdose

In the event of a slight overdose, the preparation can be discontinued for a few days.If large quantities are taken acutely, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea may occur.In such cases, taking calcium (lots of milk, calcium tablets) is recommended.A chronic overdose can lead to enamel stains on the teeth and, in the case of very significant, long-term overdose, to disorders of bone structure.

Composition

Each lozenge contains 1 mg of fluoride (as sodium salt).The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, spray-dried arabic gum, macrogol 4000, magnesium stearate (vegetable), saccharin sodium and raspberry flavor.

Storage

Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not store it above 30°C.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and blister pack.
