According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application include the stimulation and structuring of metabolic processes with an increased tendency to deposits and hardening.These include, for example, chronic rheumatic diseases, gout, osteoarthritis, muscle hardening (myogelosis), neuralgia and eczema.No prescription is required for this product.

The mother tincture Formica rufa contains Formica as the active ingredient in a homeopathic preparation.Ethanol is included as an auxiliary ingredient.The exact alcohol proportions vary depending on the potency level and are listed in detail in the package insert.

What is Formica and what is it used for?
Formica is an anthroposophical medicine that is used to stimulate and structure metabolic processes with an increased tendency to deposits and hardening.These include chronic rheumatic diseases, gout, osteoarthritis, muscle hardening, neuralgia and eczema.
What do you need to consider before taking Formica?
Formica Ø up to and including D6 must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to formic acid.There are no known contraindications for Formica D12 and D30.If symptoms persist or are unclear, please consult a doctor.Since there is no sufficiently documented experience, the liquid dilutions should only be used from D6 onwards for infants in their first year of life, and only from D3 onwards for small children aged 1 to 5 years.Like all medicines, Formica should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.There are no known interactions with other medicines.The mother tincture and the liquid dilutions contain alcohol.
How to take Formica?
Always take Formica exactly as directed in this leaflet.The usual dose varies depending on age and potency level.It is best to take the drops diluted with water.The potency level suitable for the treatment is selected by the doctor based on the respective clinical picture and prescribed individually for the patient.With Formica Ø (= D1) the liquid may become cloudy.To ensure even distribution when dispensing, the bottle should be shaken before use.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If gout does not improve within 1 - 2 days, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.

There are no known side effects.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.This also applies to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.
