Pfluegerplex® Lycopodium 354 is a homeopathic remedy for the accompanying treatment of kidney diseases, including stone formation.No prescription is required for this product.

Composition

1 Tablet contains the following active ingredients: Acidum benzoicum Trit.D4 (HAB, V. 6) 25.0 mg, Apocynum cannabinum Trit.D3 25.0 mg, Berberis vulgaris Trit.D3 50.0 mg, Lycopodium clavatum Trit.D4 50.0 mg, Lytta vesicatoria Trit.D4 25.0 mg, sodium chloratum trit.D3 25.0 mg, Solidago virgaurea Trit.D2 25.0 mg, Dactylopius coccus Trit.D2 25.0 mg.Components 1-7 are raised to the power together over the last stage.Other ingredients are calcium behenate (DAB) and potato starch.

The kidney and its function

The kidney plays a central role in detoxifying the body, as its tissue filters the blood plasma around 60 times a day and removes substances that require urine from the bloodstream.The urine formed in the kidneys is transported via the urinary tract to the bladder and excreted from there.The most common causes of impaired kidney function include kidney stones, prostate enlargement, diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure.

Kidney stones

The incidence of kidney stones has increased in recent years, linked to the increase in obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes in society.Statistically speaking, five percent of adults will suffer from kidney stones at least once in their lives, usually between the ages of 30 and 60.Kidney stones form in the renal pelvis when components of the urine crystallize.The size of the stones and the intensity of the pain they cause vary.Small stones can travel painlessly via the ureter to the bladder and be excreted from there in the urine.Larger stones can cause severe colic and require surgery.

Pfluegerplex® Lycopodium 354 contains eight important kidney and bladder remedies that relieve pain, strengthen kidney function and reduce stone formation.Solidago virgaurea promotes urine excretion and is used to treat kidney stones, irritable bladder and inflammatory diseases.Berberis vulgaris, Coccus cacti and Lycopodium clavatum relieve stabbing and colicky pain in the kidney area and support organ function in various kidney and urinary tract diseases.Apocynum cannabinum has proven effective for chronic kidney inflammation and organ weakness.Acidum benzoicum and Catharis relieve dull pain in the kidney area and help reduce frequent urge to urinate and burning or cutting pain when urinating.Sodium chloratum is used for symptoms of cystitis.

Supporting kidney function

Various measures can help to support kidney function.This includes drinking enough water (at least 1.5 liters per day), a healthy diet and regular exercise.

Application
