Directions for use of the product Bolfo flea control band cat: Bolfo Flea Control Band Cat contains the active ingredient (2-isopropoxyphenyl)(methylcarbamate) and is used to control fleas and ticks in cats and small dogs. The tape releases the active ingredient continuously and kills fleas within a few hours. Sucked ticks are killed after about one day. The duration of effect against fleas is up to 4 months and against ticks up to 10 weeks. The band should be applied loosely to the animal's neck and checked regularly. It should not be too tight. Sensitive animals may experience skin irritation, but this will subside by itself. The band should not be used by pregnant women in their third trimester and animals wearing the band should be kept away from young children and infants. It should not be used on sick, lactating, heavily pregnant animals, puppies under 3 months of age or animals with extensive skin lesions. Side effects may include skin irritation and itching. Overdose is unlikely due to the nature of the product. If the product is swallowed, a veterinarian should be consulted. Unused medicine should be handed in at hazardous waste collection points and should not be disposed of via the sewage system. The Bolfo flea protection band cat is available in a length of 35 cm. It is recommended to treat the animal's surroundings with a suitable insecticide as well.
