What is Kalinor-retard P 600 mg and what is it used for? Kalinor-retard P 600 mg is a mineral/potassium preparation for normalising the potassium balance. Indications: Treatment of potassium deficiency states. Preventive use with diuretics which lead to increased potassium excretion (potiuresis). If you do not feel better or even worse after a few days, consult your doctor. What should you remember before taking Kalinor-retard P 600 mg? Kalinor-retard P 600 mg must not be taken if you are allergic to potassium chloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. There are certain diseases and conditions for which the use of Kalinor-retard P 600 mg should be avoided. Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine. How should Kalinor-retard P 600 mg be taken? Always take this medicine exactly as directed. The dosage depends on the potassium loss to be compensated and is adjusted individually. The capsules should be taken unchewed at mealtimes with plenty of liquid. What are the possible side effects? Occasionally, gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea may occur. If you notice any side effects not listed here, please tell your doctor or pharmacist. 5. How should Kalinor-retard P 600 mg be kept? Keep this medicine out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date. Well tolerated with long-term effect. Unfortunately, the yellow-white capsules get their colour from artificial colourings. Well suited for occasional use.
