Instructions for use for Vasofix Braunüle 20 G 33 mm Rosa: The Vasofix Braunüle 1.10 x 33 mm G 20 pink is an indwelling venous cannula with an injection port and FEP-catheter. The FEP-catheter enables low-pain and vein-friendly placement. With the integrated injection port, medication can be administered quickly without having to puncture again. The cannula tip has excellent puncture properties due to an atraumatic 3-facet ground geometry. The brown cannula has four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips and a hydrophobic blood catcher plug. The lock closure cone is removable and there is a lock attachment for fixation. The Braunüle is latex and PVC-free and complies with ISO-standard 10.555-1/5. The Vasofix Brown Tube has the same product features as the Vasofix Safety, except for the integrated self-activating protection mechanism against needlestick injuries. It is recommended to use safety intravenous catheters with self-activating mechanism to minimise the risk of infection. The safety mechanism of the Vasofix Safety cannot be forgotten and activates automatically to prevent needlestick injuries. Manufacturer: B.
