Gelsemium/Bryonia Comp. is an anthroposophical medicinal product for the treatment of catarrhal infections. It is used in particular for flu-like headaches and neuralgia. The medicinal product contains 18% alcohol by volume and should therefore be taken with caution. There are no known side effects. The package leaflet should be read carefully before starting to take the medicine. Gelsemium/Bryonia Comp. should not be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding unless this has been discussed with a doctor. If symptoms or other health problems persist, a doctor should also be consulted. The usual dose is 10-20 drops up to twice a day, preferably diluted with water. The duration of treatment of an acute illness should not exceed one week. If the dose is forgotten, double doses should be avoided. The medicinal product should not be used after the expiry date. The composition of the medicinal product contains various active substances such as Arsenicum album Dil. D10, Belladonna Dil. D6, Bryonia Dil. D3, Gelsemium, ethanol. Decoctum Dil. D4 and Phosphorus Dil. D10. This is a 50 ml mixture with a dosage of approx. 36 drops per 1 ml. Weleda AG is the manufacturer of the medicinal product.
