Iscucin Crataegi Strength D is a liquid dilution for injection.The active ingredient is Viscum album (Crataegi) e planta tota K. Composition

One ampoule contains Viscum album (Crataegi) e planta tota K Dil.Starch D 1 ml (HAB, Vs. 38).The other ingredients are sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.

Contraindications

Iscucin Crataegi must not be used in cases of known allergy to mistletoe preparations, acute inflammatory or highly febrile illnesses; treatment should be interrupted until the signs of inflammation subside, and in cases of hyperthyroidism with imbalanced metabolism.

Precautions for use and warnings

Consult a doctor before using this medicine.Effects of the drug on pregnancy, the development of the unborn child, birth and on the development of the child after birth, in particular the development of blood formation and the immune system in the unborn child/infant, have not been studied.The possible risk to humans is therefore unknown.Caution is advised when used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Before using this medicine, ask your doctor for advice.We expressly point out that the dose should be increased cautiously.Increasing the dose too much, especially if you skip a dilution level in the low potency levels (e.g. from strength C to strength E), can lead to allergic reactions.

Dosage and method of administration

The application is carried out according to medical instructions.Gradual dosage is necessary to avoid hypersensitivity reactions.Start with strength A.With a careful increase in dose up to once daily use and switching to the next higher strength, the local inflammatory reaction at the injection site should not exceed a maximum diameter of 5 cm each time.If you skip a dilution level in the low potency levels (e.g. from strength C to strength E), allergic reactions can occur that require emergency measures.

Duration of application

Treatment of an illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this period, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Iscucin Crataegi can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Slight increases in body temperature, localized inflammatory reactions around the puncture site of the subcutaneous injection and temporary slight swelling of regional lymph nodes are harmless.In case of intolerance to mistletoe, local or general allergic or allergy-like reactions such as generalized itching, hives, skin rash, facial swelling (Quincke's edema), chills, shortness of breath or shock may occur, which require discontinuation of the preparation and immediate medical treatment.Information on frequency is not available.
