Vitarenal®

Vitarenal® is a dietary food for special medical purposes, specifically developed for patients with renal insufficiency.It contains water-soluble vitamins and is adapted to the needs of dialysis patients.

Areas of application

Vitarenal® is used to support the dietary management of vitamin deficiencies caused by diet or dialysis treatment.It also helps reduce elevated homocysteine levels.

Notes

Patients with chronic kidney failure often suffer from a deficiency of water-soluble vitamins.This can be caused by various factors such as depletion of vitamins during dialysis, reduced vitamin absorption due to dietary restrictions, or disturbances in vitamin metabolism due to uremia.

Vitarenal® contains all recommended water-soluble vitamins and helps reduce elevated homocysteine levels in dialysis patients.It also optimizes erythropoietin consumption.Fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins A, D, E and K are not included because there is usually no additional need for kidney failure and toxic accumulation of these vitamins would be possible.
