Cosmopor Advance is a self-adhesive, sterile wound dressing specially developed for postoperative wound care.However, it is also suitable for the sterile treatment of minor injuries as part of first aid, especially for patients with sensitive skin.

Area of application

The bandage impresses with its particularly high absorbency and offers a reliable solution for care after surgical procedures.It consists of a soft, supple carrier fleece and is equipped with a powerful, highly absorbent wound cushion.

Thanks to the innovative DryBarrier® technology, wound secretions are efficiently absorbed into the wound cushion and permanently enclosed - without being released again, even under pressure.This means that the area surrounding the wound remains dry and protected, which allows the dressing to be worn for a longer period of time.

Cosmopor Advance combines the highest suction power with a secure hold and pleasant wearing comfort - for modern and effective wound care.

Product advantages

The bandage is padded and protects against pressure and friction.It has high absorbency for wounds with normal to high exudate production and is skin-friendly, with synthetic rubber adhesive and water-repellent backing.

Material composition

The back and the carrier material are made of fleece, the transparent adhesive is rubber-based.The wound pad consists of a wound contact layer made of polyethylene mesh and an absorption layer made of viscose.
