Fixomull transparent is a waterproof and transparent bandage fixation that consists of a thin and highly flexible polyurethane film.This film is coated with a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive, which makes it particularly breathable and skin-friendly.The semi-permeable nature of the film allows the skin to breathe, reducing the risk of maceration.Due to its stretch and suppleness, the film adapts perfectly to every contour of the body, including joints and extremities.The transparency of the film enables constant visual inspection of the wound area and makes the dressing inconspicuous.

Areas of application

Fixomull transparent is suitable for the waterproof, full-surface fixation of wound dressings, including in the area of joints and extremities.In addition, it can be used for the waterproof fixation of instruments, catheters, measuring elements and probes as well as for the hygienic fixation of ointment dressings.It is also suitable for hydrotherapy.The transparent, full-surface bandage fixation protects wounds from dirt and infections caused by external pathogens and serves as a barrier against bacteria.
