Spasmofides S is a homeopathic medicinal product for the treatment of spasms of the hollow organs such as the stomach, intestines, gall bladder, uterus and the urinary tract as well as dysmenorrhoea. It contains the active substances Belladonna Dil. D4, Atropinum sulphuricum Dil. D4, Colocynthis Dil. D4 and Dioscorea villosa Dil. D3 in a common potentisation via the last stage with ethanol 30% (m/m). Side effects in children may be mydriasis and dry mouth in rare cases. The remedy should be taken preventively 3-4 times a day, 10 drops each time, and in acute complaints every 30 minutes, 10 drops each time for 2-3 hours in a little water. It should not be used for a long time without medical advice. Spasmofides S is a product of Biologische Heilmittel Heel GmbH.
