Another important component of Nutriglucan tablets is beta-glucan, an indigestible carbohydrate that is obtained from the cell wall of baker's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae).Beta-glucans stimulate macrophages and natural killer cells, resulting in a stable and appropriately responsive immune system.This is particularly beneficial for people whose immune systems are impaired by particular stresses.

Mode of action

The nutrients contained in Nutriglucan tablets support different functions in the body.Zinc, vitamin C and vitamin B6 contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system, while zinc and vitamin C also contribute to protecting cells from oxidative stress.

Zinc acts as a co-factor for around 200 enzymes in the body and plays an important role in strengthening the immune system.Vitamin C acts as a free radical scavenger because the activation of macrophages naturally results in an increased release of free radicals.Vitamin B6 is involved in blood formation, cell division and the immune system as well as in the formation of neurotransmitters (messenger substances).

Nutriglucan tablets contain the following ingredients: (1→3), (1→6)-ß-D-glucan-rich yeast fraction (55%, of which 23% ß-D-glucan), firming agents: microcrystalline cellulose, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), corn dextrin, zinc gluconate, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6);Anti-caking agents: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, magnesium salts of fatty acids and silicon dioxide.

The composition of a daily portion (3 tablets = 2.1 g) includes: zinc 5.0 mg (50% of the reference amount), vitamin C 225.0 mg (281% of the reference amount), vitamin B6 6.3 mg (450% of the reference amount), ß-D-glucan fraction 1155.0 mg (of which (1→3),(1→6)-ß-D-glucan 270.9 mg).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

The daily portion (3 tablets) should be taken with a meal with liquid, e.g.B. a glass of water.Alternatively, the daily portion can also be divided into several meals.Children aged 8-14 take 2 tablets daily, children aged 4-7 take 1 tablet daily.
