Gazin gauze dressings in size 7.5x7.5 cm are soft, absorbent and air-permeable wound dressings. They are made of 100% cotton and have no edge threads, as all cut edges are on the inside. There are both non-sterile compresses and sterile ones, the latter also being available with an X-ray contrast thread. The sterile compresses with X-ray contrast thread are sold under the brand name Setpack. The non-sterile compresses can be sterilised with steam, have no X-ray contrast stripes and are 17-thread and 8-fold. The manufacturer of these compresses is Lohmann & Rauscher GmbH & Co. KG.
