Gazin gauze compresses are soft, absorbent and air-permeable gauze compresses. They are free of edge threads, as all cut edges are on the inside. There are sterile gauze compresses without X-ray contrast thread, non-sterile compresses without X-ray contrast thread and sterile gauze compresses with X-ray contrast thread (brand name Setpack). The compresses are made of 100 % cotton. The X-ray contrast thread contains polypropylene, polyester yarn and barium sulphate. The non-sterile compresses can be sterilised with steam (134°C) and are supplied in a paper bag. They have a size of 10 cm x 10 cm.
