Instructions for use of Prac Tic for small dogs

Prac-tic is a spot-on skin solution specifically designed for small dogs weighing between 4.5kg and 11.0kg.This product is used to treat and prevent flea and tick infestations in dogs.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredient and composition

The active ingredient in Prac-tic is pyriprole with a concentration of 137.5 mg per pipette.A single dose contains 1.1 ml of the solution.The product also contains 0.1% butylhydroxytoluene (E321) as an additional ingredient.

Areas of application

Prac-tic is used to treat and prevent flea infestations in dogs.The insecticidal effectiveness against new flea infestations lasts at least four weeks.It is also used to treat and prevent tick infestation.The veterinary medicinal product has an acaricidal effect against ticks that lasts four weeks.

Notes for the user

Contact of the skin, eyes and mouth with the veterinary medicinal product should be avoided.Avoid direct contact with the treated animal until the treatment site has dried.The pipettes should be stored in the original blister packaging until use to protect them from light.The product should not be stored above 25°C.

Instructions for use on animals

Prac-tic is intended exclusively for dogs and must not be used on cats or rabbits.The product should not be administered orally and contact of the product with the dog's eyes should be avoided.

Disposal and storage

Unused veterinary medicinal products or waste materials derived from them should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.The veterinary medicinal product must not enter water bodies as this can be dangerous for fish and other aquatic organisms.The product should be kept out of the reach and sight of children.
