Copper gluconate tablets are a food supplement containing 0.5 mg of copper per tablet. It is recommended to take up to 3 tablets daily with sufficient liquid. The tablets contain lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, talc, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, copper gluconate, magnesium salts of fatty acids and silicon dioxide as ingredients. Hypersensitivity to the ingredients is a contraindication for use. Copper is important for the body as it supports normal immune system function, promotes normal iron transport, maintains connective tissue and protects cells from oxidative stress.
