DENTOSAFE® Tooth rescue box

The DENTOSAFE® tooth rescue box is an aid for the safe and temporary storage as well as the professional transport of knocked out or broken teeth and tooth fragments.It allows the teeth to be stored until reimplantation by a dentist.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Tooth injuries can result from playing, sports and traffic accidents.The front teeth are often affected.In order to save the teeth and not have to replace them, it is important to place the teeth or tooth fragments in the nutrient solution of the DENTOSAFE® tooth rescue box within 30 minutes of the accident.This helps keep the periodontal cells alive for at least 24 hours.

Teeth that are placed in the nutrient solution of the tooth rescue box can be successfully planted back into the jaw and preserved by a dentist after the accident.The nutrient solution in the tooth rescue box is ready for use.After opening the lid, the tooth is placed directly into the nutrient solution without prior cleaning of dirt particles and the lid is closed again.

When handling the tooth, care must be taken not to touch the root surface as it is covered with living cells.The DENTOSAFE® tooth rescue box is transported to the dentist's office or clinic together with the accident victim.

Use in an emergency

The DENTOSAFE® tooth rescue box is ready for use.The cap of the box is unscrewed and the tooth is placed in the bottle with the root tip facing down.It is important not to touch the tooth at the root.The tooth rescue box is then closed again with the screw cap and can easily be transported to the dentist or the nearest dental clinic.

The DENTOSAFE® cell nutrient solution keeps the tooth viable for at least 24 hours, which is the prerequisite for the tooth to grow back into the jaw.The initials of the patient whose tooth was entered into the tooth rescue box and the date and time of entry should be noted on the bottle label.
