Iscucin Abietis potency series I is a liquid dilution for injection containing the active ingredient Viscum album (Abietis) e planta tota K.This preparation is used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It serves to stimulate form and integration forces, in particular to dissolve and reintegrate independent growth processes.Areas of application include malignant and benign tumor diseases, defined precancerous lesions, recurrence prevention after tumor operations as well as chronic cross-border diseases such as Crohn's disease or chronic joint diseases.

Composition

One ampoule of Iscucin Abietis potency series I contains Viscum album (Abietis) e planta tota K in a specific dilution.The exact strength of the dilution is stated on the packaging.

Contraindications

Iscucin Abietis must not be used in cases of known allergy to mistletoe preparations, acute inflammatory or highly febrile diseases, chronic granulomatous diseases, florid autoimmune diseases and hyperthyroidism with tachycardia.In the case of acute inflammatory or highly febrile illnesses, treatment should be interrupted until the signs of inflammation subside.

Precautions and warnings

In the case of primary brain and spinal cord tumors or intracranial metastases with a risk of increased intracranial pressure, the preparations should only be administered according to strict indications and under close clinical control.Caution is advised during pregnancy and breastfeeding as the effects of the drug have not been adequately studied.There is no experience with regard to impairment of the ability to drive or use machines.

Interactions

There are no studies available on interactions with other immunomodulating substances.If appropriate preparations are used promptly, careful dosing and monitoring of appropriate immune indicators is recommended.

Dosage and application

The dosage is carried out individually according to the doctor's instructions.The treating doctor decides on the duration of use.The duration of use is in principle not limited and depends on the respective risk of recurrence and the individual condition of the patient.It is expressly recommended that the dose be increased carefully in order to avoid allergy-like reactions.

Side effects

At the beginning of therapy, a slight increase in body temperature and local inflammatory reactions at the injection site may occur.These are generally harmless.If there is a fever over 38°C or major local reactions over 5 cm in diameter, the next injection should only be given after these symptoms have subsided and at a reduced strength or dose.Allergic or allergoid reactions may also occur, which require discontinuation of the preparation and initiation of medical therapy.
