Dosage and method of administration
The dosage is carried out individually according to the doctor's instructions. The treating doctor decides on the duration of use.The duration of use is in principle not limited and depends on the respective risk of recurrence and the individual condition or findings of the patient. It should last for several years, with breaks of increasing length as a rule.
We expressly point out that the dose should be increased cautiously.Increasing the dose too much, especially if you skip a dilution level in the low strengths, can lead to allergy-like reactions that require emergency measures.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Iscucin Mali can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.A slight increase in body temperature and local inflammatory reactions at the subcutaneous injection site occur almost regularly at the beginning of therapy and are signs of the patient's reaction status.Temporary slight swelling of regional lymph nodes is also harmless.
If there is a fever over 38°C or larger local reactions over 5 cm in diameter, the next injection should only be given after these symptoms have subsided and in a reduced strength or dose.Excessive local reactions can be avoided by using a lower strength of the preparation or a smaller amount of the dose.
Localized or systemic allergic or allergoid reactions may occur, requiring discontinuation of the product and initiation of medical therapy.Activation of pre-existing inflammation and inflammatory irritation of superficial veins in the injection area are also possible.
The occurrence of chronic granulomatous inflammation and autoimmune diseases during mistletoe therapy has been reported.Symptoms of increased intracranial pressure in brain tumors/metastases during mistletoe therapy have also been reported.
