Areas of application

Iscucin Populi Starch F is a liquid dilution for injection that is used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.The areas of application include the stimulation of form and integration forces to dissolve and reintegrate independent growth processes.This includes the treatment of malignant tumor diseases, including those with accompanying disorders of the blood-forming organs, benign tumor diseases, defined precancerous lesions, recurrence prevention after tumor operations as well as chronic cross-border diseases such as Crohn's disease or chronic joint diseases.

Composition

The active ingredient of Iscucin Populi Starch F is Viscum album (Populi) e planta tota K. One ampoule contains Viscum album (Populi) e planta tota K Dil.Starch F 1 ml (HAB, Vs. 38).

Contraindications

Iscucin Populi must not be used in cases of known allergy to mistletoe preparations, acute inflammatory or high fever diseases, chronic granulomatous diseases, florid autoimmune diseases, autoimmune diseases under immunosuppressive therapy and in hyperthyroidism with tachycardia.

Precautions and warnings

In the case of primary brain and spinal cord tumors or intracranial metastases with a risk of increased intracranial pressure, the preparations should only be administered according to strict indications and under close clinical control.Effects of the drug on pregnancy, development of the unborn child, birth and development of the child after birth have not been studied.Therefore, caution is advised.There is no experience with regard to impairment of the ability to drive or use machines.

Interactions

There are no studies available on interactions with other immunomodulating substances such as thymus extracts.If appropriate preparations are used promptly, careful dosing and monitoring of appropriate immune indicators is recommended.

Dosage and application

The dosage is carried out individually according to the doctor's instructions.The treating doctor decides on the duration of use.The duration of use is in principle not limited and depends on the respective risk of recurrence and the individual condition of the patient.It is important to carefully increase the dose in order to avoid allergy-like reactions.

Side effects

At the beginning of therapy, a slight increase in body temperature and local inflammatory reactions at the injection site may occur.If there is a fever over 38°C or major local reactions over 5 cm in diameter, the next injection should only be given after these symptoms have subsided and at a reduced strength or dose.Allergic or allergoid reactions may occur that require discontinuation of the preparation and initiation of medical therapy.Excessive local reactions can be avoided by using a lower strength of the preparation or a smaller amount of the dose.
