Iscucin Populi Starch G is a liquid dilution for injection containing the active ingredient Viscum album (Populi) e planta tota K.This product is available without a prescription.

Areas of application

According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, Iscucin Populi Strength G can be used in adults to stimulate form and integration forces.This can contribute to the resolution and reintegration of independent growth processes.These include, for example, the treatment of malignant and benign tumor diseases, defined precancerous lesions, recurrence prevention after tumor operations as well as chronic cross-border diseases such as Crohn's disease or chronic joint diseases.

Contraindications

Iscucin Populi Strength G must not be used in cases of known allergy to mistletoe preparations, acute inflammatory or highly febrile diseases, chronic granulomatous diseases, florid autoimmune diseases under immunosuppressive therapy and in hyperthyroidism with tachycardia.

Precautions and warnings

In the case of primary brain and spinal cord tumors or intracranial metastases with a risk of increased intracranial pressure, the preparations should only be administered according to strict indications and under close clinical control.Effects of the drug on pregnancy, development of the unborn child, birth and development of the child after birth have not been studied.Therefore, caution is advised.There is no experience with regard to impairment of the ability to drive or use machines.

Interactions

There are no studies available on interactions with other immunomodulating substances.If appropriate preparations are used promptly, careful dosing and monitoring of appropriate immune indicators is recommended.

Dosage and application

The dosage is carried out individually according to the doctor's instructions.The treating doctor decides on the duration of use.The duration of use is in principle not limited and depends on the respective risk of recurrence and the individual condition or findings of the patient.It is important to carefully increase the dose in order to avoid allergy-like reactions.

Side effects

At the beginning of therapy, a slight increase in body temperature and local inflammatory reactions at the injection site may occur.If there is a fever over 38°C or major local reactions over 5 cm in diameter, the next injection should only be given after these symptoms have subsided and at a reduced strength or dose.Allergic or allergoid reactions may occur that require discontinuation of the preparation and initiation of medical therapy.Activation of pre-existing inflammation and inflammatory irritation of superficial veins in the injection area are also possible.
