Comprinet forte is a medical stocking bandage that has been specially developed to support vein function and prevent edema through high compression.It is available in two compression levels: 35 mmHg and 23 mmHg.No prescription is required for this product.

The stocking bandage is made of a soft, air-permeable fabric that is skin-friendly and offers an anatomical fit with a knitted heel.An integrated soft adhesive band ensures a non-slip grip on the thigh.The colored size marking on the heel makes it easier to choose the size, and the open toe allows for easy assessment of blood circulation.The bandage also has a sew-in label with a washable print of the size information, an individual barcode and a grid field for documenting the processing.

Comprinet forte 35 consists of 79% polyamide, 18% elastane and 3% neoprene.Comprinet forte 23 consists of 83% polyamide, 14% elastane and 3% neoprene.The Comprinet forte liner, which is used to fix wound dressing material after surgical procedures, is made of 100% polyamide.The dressing can be reprocessed up to 10 times without affecting the pressure profile, taking into account the special washing recommendations.

Areas of application

Comprinet forte is used to prevent edema and thrombosis after surgical procedures.It is also used to prevent deep vein thrombosis after or during vein surgery or sclerotherapy, as well as for thrombosis prophylaxis when there is an increased risk of thrombosis.It can also be used as an alternative to compression bandages.

Duration of application

The duration of application varies depending on the area of application and can range from one to several days.Depending on the indication, the bandage can be worn day and/or night, on mobile and/or immobile patients.
