Gelostretch is a longitudinally and transversely stretchable zinc gel bandage that enables the bandage to be continuously modeled, even at critical points in difficult anatomical transitions.Due to the stretchy properties of the Gelostretch, the bandage can give in and exert compression pressure even when the leg swelling decreases.Gelostretch consists of a cellulose-based zinc gel that is applied to a carrier made of 76% viscose and 24% cotton.

The formula is latex-free and is not made with natural rubber latex.

Application

Gelostretch is suitable for compression bandages in phlebological indications such as chronic venous insufficiency, including venous leg ulcers and phlebedema, thrombophlebitis and phlebothrombosis.

In addition, the bandage can be used for support and relief bandages in diseases of the ligamentous and supporting apparatus, for example in sprains, dislocations, tendovaginitis, for further treatment after plaster fittings and to reduce post-traumatic edema.

Duration of application

Taking into account the recommended change intervals, Gelostretch can be used for a few days to several weeks.
