Biochemistry 11 Silicea D6 Cream is a homeopathic medicine intended for use on the skin.Silicea strengthens and cleanses the connective tissue and is used as a nourishing cream.The cream has proven particularly useful for dry or prematurely aging skin.It can also be used for foot sweating, nail hardening, scars, abscesses and purulent skin disorders.

No prescription is required for this product.It is a registered homeopathic medicine and is offered without specifying a therapeutic indication.

Important notes

This medicine contains propylene glycol and cetyl alcohol.Propylene glycol can cause skin irritation and should not be used on babies under 4 weeks of age with open wounds or extensive skin injuries without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.Cetyl alcohol can cause localized skin irritation such as contact dermatitis.

Application

The cream is applied daily to the affected skin areas in a thin layer.Homeopathic medications should also not be used for a long period of time, such as 14 days, without medical advice.If you are unsure about its use, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

In very rare cases, skin irritations such as itching or burning may occur at the beginning of treatment.If you are hypersensitive to any of the components, allergic skin reactions may occur.The components cetyl alcohol and propylene glycol contained in the medicine can cause skin irritation.

Storage

Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer carton.It should not be stored above 25°C and kept tightly closed in the original container.Once opened, the cream must be used within 6 months.

Composition

1 g of cream contains the active ingredient Acidum silicicum Trit.D6 in an amount of 10 mg.The other ingredients are glycerol monostearate 60, cetyl alcohol, macrogol 20 glycerol monostearate, medium-chain triglycerides, propylene glycol, white petroleum jelly, water, purified.
