Thanks to its material, shape and adhesive strength, Leukomed I.V. offers therapy safety and comfort when fixing the cannula.Both users and patients benefit from this.The soft and stretchy material conforms well, while the three-part liner and V-shaped slot allow for quick and easy application.The high immediate and permanent adhesive strength, combined with a non-stick wound dressing, ensures secure and gentle fixation.Leukomed I.V. is sterile, skin-friendly and can be removed without leaving any residue.It is made of stretchy polyester fleece that conforms well to body contours, cannulas and catheters and provides excellent air permeability.The extra-soft, absorbent wound dressing made of viscose fleece is specially coated with polypropylene to prevent it from sticking to the wound.The rounded corners prevent unwanted rolling up, and the extra fleece pad can be used as a swab or cushion.Leukomed I.V. consists of a polyester fleece carrier coated with a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive, and the wound dressing is made of a viscose fleece coated with polypropylene.

The formula is latex-free and not made with natural rubber latex.

Application

Leukomed I.V. is used to fix cannulas and peripheral venous catheters in the operating room, on the ward, in the outpatient clinic and in emergency care.

Duration of application

The duration of application is short-term and lasts one to several days.
