Leukomed I.V. film fixation plasters are available in various shapes and sizes to enable secure and long-lasting fixation of central and peripheral venous catheters as well as cannulas with and without injection ports.These transparent plasters offer a high level of therapeutic safety and are quick and easy to use.Thanks to the transparency, the puncture site can be checked at any time without having to change the dressing.The germ-proof and waterproof cover prevents infections, while the high water vapor permeability of the film prevents moisture accumulation and reduces the risk of maceration.The highly flexible, waterproof film ensures a high level of comfort and adapts like a second skin.The wings made of polyester fleece are transversely elastic and particularly supple, which offers additional stability in fixation (except order no. 7239004).The plasters are sterile and provide reliable protection against bacteria, viruses and infections.Rounded corners and additional fixing strips make it easier to use safely.The three-part cover paper, the V-shaped slot and the red handle bar enable quick and intuitive application.Leukomed I.V. film consists of a transparent, extra-thin polyurethane film and a polyester fleece on the wings.Both the film and the wings are fully coated with a polyacrylate adhesive.

The formula is latex-free and is not made with natural rubber latex.

Leukomed I.V. film fixation plasters are used to fix cannulas and catheters in intensive care, inpatient care and home care.

Duration of application

The duration of use is up to 7 days.
