Instructions for use of the article Leukomed I.V. Film Leukomed I.V. Film is a transparent, germ- and waterproof cannula and catheter fixation. It is offered in different shapes and sizes and thus enables a safe and permanent fixation of central and peripheral venous catheters and cannulas. The transparent Leukomed I.V. Film offers a high level of therapy safety with simple and quick handling. It allows the puncture site to be checked without the need for a dressing change. The product consists of an extremely thin, transparent polyurethane film which is partially coated with a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. This adhesive application maintains the breathability of the film and reduces the risk of maceration. The highly flexible, waterproof film offers a high level of wearing comfort and safe application, even on joints and areas of the body that move a lot. Leukomed I.V. Film is sterile and reliably protects against bacteria, germs and infections. It is equipped with rounded corners and additional fixation strips to ensure safe application. Leukomed I.V. Film's three-part cover paper, V-shaped slit and red grip strip are particularly practical, allowing for quick and intuitive application. The product consists of extra thin polyurethane film partially coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. It is latex-free. Leukomed I.V. Film is used for cannula fixation in intensive care, inpatient care and home care. It can be used for several days. One pack contains 50 pieces.
